Youth Beyond Borders
Empowers Youth Champions through mentorship, cross-cultural dialogues, and youth-led peace campaigns in South and Southeast Asia.
Under the Networks for Peace project, Sri Lanka Unites (SLU) partnered with Kenan Foundation Asia and the Center for Social Integrity to implement the Youth Beyond Borders program. SLU identified 22 Youth Champions, hosted regional and virtual dialogues for meaningful discussions, and organized two regional gatherings to foster cross-cultural understanding and strengthen youth networks across South and Southeast Asia.
SLU provided mentorship and facilitated six youth-led social campaigns addressing key social issues and promoting peacebuilding within communities. These campaigns, collaboratively led by Youth Champions from multiple countries, concluded their first phase in July 2024. Since then, SLU and CSI have supported the continuation and expansion of five campaigns, sustaining regional impact through November 2024.
